Museum collection description: The Literature-Memorial Museum of Ilia Chavchavadze (1837-1907), Georgian writer and a public figure of special importance, is a memorial complex that include Ilia Chavchavadze House Museum in Tbilisi, Literature-Memorial Museum, here used to be office and typography of the newspaper "Iveria". The museum houses materials of Ilia Chavchavadze's life and work: memorial belongings, documents and photo archive, periodicals published by Ilia Chavchavadze, manuscripts, XIX –XX c.c. paintings and graphics, various editions of Ilia Chavchavadze works.
Working hours: everyday except Sunday & Monday, 10.00 – 17.00

Expositions: Permanent exhibition dedicated to writers life.
Educational programmes: educational programmes dedicated to writers works, “Conversations about Georgian journalism” (together with TSU), “Ilia and Abkhazia”, documental film about killing, permanent seminar together with seminary.
